Christmas

Our Christmas plans did not work out...sick kiddos! I have been feeling sorry for myself the last few days, but staying home and just relaxing has been nice. Having Adam home makes everything better...seriously! He makes being a mom so much easier because he is such a great dad. He can clean throw-up, change dirty diapers, and feed kids without complaining or sighing (both of which I do all the time) and he always knows when I need a hug! He is also an early riser, which means I have been able to sleep in...yahoo! So, despite the fact that we could have been skiing in knee-deep powder in Utah and chillin' with my family, I am doing okay. Sometimes it is good to just slow-down and enjoy doing nothing together. It has certainly made me think more about the true meaning of Christmas and that I am grateful for my little family.

Oh, it is so hard when plans go awry. You have a wonderful attitude and of course, it is such a great thing to be able to look around amidst all of the muck and chaos of sick kids and still be able to see how awesomely blessed you are. Yeah Adam, thank goodness for great husbands.

Hopefully you still get plenty of time to get good use out of your new, cute, cute ski clothes.

Merry Christmas!

It is probably better that you guys decided to cancel your trip. Nothing worse than sick kids out of their element. I hope everyone feels better soon and you guys can head out here before the snow melts. (You have plenty of time, there is a ton of it in the mountains)
Glad you were still able to enjoy your holiday. One thing I have learned from you is that a positive attitude makes all the difference.

We were happy to see that we made it on your list of Top 10 moments of 2010! Thank you so much for your love and support! We love you too! Mom and Dad
